About

Change2Twin is a EU-funded project (part of I4MS) which helps manufacturing SMEs in their digitization efforts to deploy digital twins. We are a consortium of 18 partners from all over Europe and we believe that the concept of digital twin is one of the big game-changers in manufacturing allowing companies to significantly increase their global competitiveness. Therefore, we teamed up for this project and provide an easy scheme for manufacturing SMEs to acquire the right digital twin solution.

Our scheme is unique for its strong focus on the individual needs of companies. It reaches from the analysis of their digitization potential, individual mentoring plan to ready-to-use recipe for digital twin deployment. We will provide participating SMEs with funding, which will cover the assessment of their digital fitness, preparedness for digital twinning as well as the deployment of the digital twin (incl. application experiments). For this purpose, Change2Twin cooperates with local Digital Innovation Hubs, technology providers and related European projects.

From Autumn 2020 to Spring 2021 Change2Twin will execute four pilot experiments with companies from diverse manufacturing branches. The experiments will be documented and will be made available on this website. In early 2021 Change2Twin launches the first open call for SMEs and the entire process will be accompanied by a support programme, including free webinars and an online training scheme.
